I help leaders win the war for talent.
If you are building a people-first, high-performance culture where people do their best work and live their best lives, I can help.
I leverage science and insights from high-performing teams to help leaders address THE question in business today: “How do we attract and retain top talent?”
The answers are often simple and low cost. But, that doesn’t mean easy. Are you willing to do what it takes?
If so, let’s talk.
We are all in the people business.
And, we are all in the war for talent. Fortunately, many of the most effective talent strategies are free and only require serious intent, not serious budget.
If Olympic teams and special forces units can tap into the unstoppable desire of people to grow, so can we. We must think differently and work differently if we want to succeed differently.
Our best work and best lives hang in the balance.
Let’s get started.

Hi, I’m Travis
I am a talent professional and speaker on a mission to help leaders build great places to work.
For years, I studied elite sports and military units for insights into high-performance, then applied those lessons to sales and leadership teams. The single greatest observation was that everyone wants to achieve their potential, but no one does it alone.
Attracting talent, elevating engagement, driving exceptional performance, and doing work that matters are all connected. And it applies to everyone with a pulse.
I want to help you, your people, and your organization thrive.

I focus on three areas:
Talent
Every person is talented. The question is whether their talents suit their work. Sadly, most of us don’t know ourselves well and most companies aren’t helping. Selection and development are essential for creating highly engaged teams that perform well and love their work.
Culture
Every organization has a culture that helps explain why people do what they do. In truth, they have as many cultures as they have leaders. If those micro-cultures are going to sync up to a single powerful set of values and beliefs, the tone must be set and reinforced daily from the top. Great cultures are no accident.
Performance
We are what we repeatedly do. If we want more joy, success, and significance, we must do the things that predictably yield joy, success, and significance. This isn’t complicated, but surprisingly few know what to repeatedly do and fewer still actually do those things. Thankfully, we can change that.
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence then, is not an act, but a habit.”
-Will Durant 1926, on Aristotle
